I created a gif. The gif I decided to create was someone doing a cartwheel. When planning this I tried to think of a motion that would look smooth when it was all put together. I had to plan out how many frames it would take to create this gif. I took around 10 pictures for this one.
30 Second Video
This 30 second video is about a girl who is late for school and is rushing to get to class. Before Maddi and I started filming we took the time to plan out a story board. We drew pictures of the main parts of the film and we wrote the different camera angles that we were gonna use to shoot the clips. After we were done filming we put all the video clips together in Adobe Premiere Elements and added music to the background.
Stop Motion
Stop motion animation is a cinematographic technique whereby the camera is repeatedly stopped and started, for example to give animated figures the impression of movement.

3 tips to make a stop motion:
Tip 1: NEVER bump the camera.Even the slightest accidental nudge of the camera will stick out. Using a tripod is a good way to avoid small bumps.
Tip 2: NEVER accidentally change the lighting. Try not to use natural lighting because it is always changing. The lighting can make a huge difference in your final porject if it is different in each frame.
Tip 3: ALWAYS shoot more frames than you need. You can always delete frames and creating the scences again once you are done is a lot harder.
I like this video because it invloves many different shapes and transformations with the clay. This video would have taken a long time and many frames to make.
I find this video very interesting. I really like this person's unique idea of making the paper come to life. This video contains many different camera angles which make it very interesting.
I find this one very interesting as well. I love how this one is made by drawing pictures instead of moving an object. I think it is a different but unique way to make a stop motion animation.

Christmas Eve Claymation
Little Johnny had been looking through Christmas catalogs since the day they came out. All year he has been asking his parents for the special toy car that all of his friends have. Johnny is an only child but he is not spoiled. He is very well behaved and his parents have been teaching him to save up his allowance if he wants something. He has saved up his money but when December 1st hit, he had still not saved up enough. Johnny’s mother told Johnny that if he wants his toy car he better be a good boy so he can make Santas nice list. It is now Christmas Eve and time for Johnny to go to bed. Before Johnny goes upstairs he sets out the cookies for Santa on a table near the warm cozey fire in the living room. He makes sure every last decoration is in place before he heads upstairs. He crawls into his big comfy bed but he cannot fall asleep. He is too busy thinking about the present he is hopefully going to wake up to in the morning. Eventually Johnny falls fast asleep and has a dream. In Johnny’s dream, Santa comes to Johnny’s house and crawls down the chimney with his sack. Santa gets distracted by the smell of the cookies and eats them all. He goes back up the chimney without putting a single present down the tree. *still in dream* Johnny wakes up and runs downstairs to find nothing but an empty plate from the cookies. Johnny does not know how this is possible because he has been such a good boy to make sure he got this car. Disappointed, Johnny goes back to his room to wait for his parents to wake up so he can tell them the bad news. When Johnny wakes up on Christmas morning he realizes that everything was just a dream! He runs downstairs to find a whole bunch of presents under the tree. He waits excitedly for his parents to come downstairs so he can open presents. When it was finally time Johnny ripped open all his presents, but still there was no sign of a toy car. As he looked around with hope, he spotted one last present hiding in the corner. He opened it and he was overwhelmed with joy when he saw the new toy car he had been wishing for! Johnny played with his new toy car all day long!
